This code appears when the sensor that measures the amount of air entering the engine is sending a weak signal to the car’s computer. Causes include accumulated dirt, wiring problems, or a faulty sensor. With this fault, the fuel-air mixture is not adjusted correctly, causing loss of power, irregular engine operation, and increased fuel consumption.
