The C4’s original multimedia system or radio has a dedicated fuse that, when it blows, completely cuts off the power supply to the device.
- Focused Model: Citroën C4 Hatch, Pallas or Lounge (typical models).
- Location of Protection: The fuse is in Integrated Services Box (BSI), located inside the cabin (usually under the dashboard, near the steering column, or behind the side cover).
- Correct Fuse: The radio/multimedia center circuit is typically protected by a fuse. F38, with amperage of 15A. Note that the radio fuse may vary; F38 is common, but some models use F37, also rated at 15A. Always check the diagram in your manual.
Common Cause: This fuse blowing is usually caused by an internal short circuit in the radio, problems with the speaker wiring, or, most commonly, by a… Incorrect installation of accessories (such as sound modules or video interfaces) on the same power line. If F38 (15A) burns out, the control panel will not receive power to turn on.
