Artigo voltado ao mercado Brasileiro. Artigo atualizado em 22 de May de 2026 por João Daniel
Based on the Citroën C3 2017+ owner’s manual and available technical information, I have compiled a detailed schedule for maintenance on versions with 1.2 engines and manual transmissions. This table follows Citroën’s recommendations for the Brazilian market and may vary depending on the specific use and conditions of the vehicle.
Engine 1.2 – Manual / Automatic
| Mileage | Main items | Additional items / high mileage |
|---|---|---|
| 10,000 km | Engine oil and filter change; air and cabin filter check; brake, tire, and lighting inspection; essential fluid check (brake, power steering, coolant). | — |
| 20,000 km | Engine oil and filter change; cooling system check; exhaust inspection; wheel alignment and balancing; basic suspension inspection. | — |
| 30,000 km | Engine oil and filter change; spark plugs; detailed inspection of suspension and steering; verification of auxiliary hoses and belts. | — |
| 40,000 km | Engine oil and filter change; air conditioning system inspection; transmission system check. | — |
| 50,000 km | Engine oil and filter change; electrical system check; lighting and wiring inspection; brake fluid change if necessary. | — |
| 60,000 km | Engine oil and filter change; timing belt and water pump replacement; complete inspection of suspension and exhaust system. | — |
| 80,000 km | Complete review of the previous items; checking of bushings, shock absorbers and boots; verification of the steering system. | — |
| 100,000 km | Engine oil and filter change; clutch overhaul; detailed electrical inspection; gasket and seal check. | Preventive replacement of the timing belt if not already performed; water pump; inspection of sensors and electronics. |
| 120,000 km | Engine oil and filter change; complete suspension, brake, and steering overhaul; replacement of engine mounts, bushings, and wheel bearings; transmission and air conditioning system overhaul. | — |
| 150,000 km | Engine oil and filter change; complete inspection of engine, transmission, electrical system and sensors; review of critical components (belts, hoses, boots, suspension). | — |
Important notes
- Fluids (engine oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, power steering fluid, and coolant) should be changed according to mileage or time, even if the vehicle has over 100,000 km.
- The timing belt should be replaced preventively; failure can cause serious engine damage.
- Suspension and steering: engine mounts, bushings, shock absorbers, and bearings should be inspected or replaced in vehicles with high mileage.
- Electrical systems and sensors: high mileage increases the likelihood of failures; periodic inspection helps prevent breakdowns.
- Severe use (bad roads, heavy traffic, constant load) requires bringing forward maintenance intervals of 5,000–10,000 km.
