- What the car is saying: “The modules (Engine, Transmission, ABS) tried to communicate, but there was noise or an interruption in the communication line.”
- Common Cause: Low voltage battery or Corrosion on BSM connectors (Engine fuse box). When the CAN network experiences interference, the car may lock the transmission, the dashboard may go blank, or it may not start.
- Solution: Test the battery health and clean the injection control unit and BSM connectors with quick-drying contact cleaner.
