What happens: You turn on the headlights and only one side lights up. You’ve already replaced the bulb, and the headlight still remains off. The dashboard may display a “Faulty Bulb” warning.
Where are they: Located in BSM (Under-hood fuse box).
- F16 (15A – Blue): Protects the low beam headlight on the side. Right (passenger).
- F17 (15A – Blue): Protects the low beam headlight on the side. Left (driver).
Possible Solution: Citroën separates the circuits so that, in case of a short circuit in a headlight, you won’t be left completely in the dark on the road. If the fuse has blown, check for water infiltration in the headlight or if the plastic connector of the bulb (H7 socket) is melted. It is very common for the heat of the bulb to melt the plug, causing a short circuit that blows the fuse.
